The Musto MPX Gore-tex Offshore Race Jacket is designed for lengthy offshore and coastal sailing, with less weight and bulk compared to the MPX offshore jacket. Most of the features are the same, including an adjustable fluorescent hood, reflective safety strips, lifejacket attatchments and virtual drysuit cuffs. However , the handwarming pockets are situated behind the lower cargo pockets allowing easier movement around the chest. Also, the fleeced collar is lower allowing better neck movement and visability, especially useful in race conditions. Although lighter, the garment offers plenty of storage space with two self draining pockets, inner security pocket and handwarmins pockets. Both the new technical zip and cuff pull tab features are included, along with articulated elbows and knees and two way zip. The jacket is worn with th MPX salopettes (SM1504), or the MPX race salopettes (SM0011).
