Spinlock Deckvest (DW-LJH)

The Spinlock 150N Deckvest has a compact 3D shape that is light and comfortable, a wide range of chest and back adjusters create a personalised fit. A single front opening belt system allows the wearer to easily take on and off. It has a soft loop harness attachment point to attach a safety line when the going gets rough. Other safety features include an integrated spray hood, thigh straps, a light and whistle. Includes a FREE Spinlock Cutter worth £11.95.

The firing system is a military spec United Moulders operating mechanism the MK5i. The UML automatic system activates when the cartridge mechanism comes into contact with water. The cartridge mechanism is a compressed high powered spring which is held by a paper element. When the paper element comes into contact with water it releases the spring which pushes a plunger forward, in turn forcing a cutter into the C0² cylinder inflating the lifejacket. A Nitrile seal to prevent the accidental activisation of the lifejacket stops moisture and water spray getting to the system during hot humid or heavy stormy weather, whilst special vents aid rapid inflation on immersion. The Deckvest can also be set off manually with a pull handle.
