The Spinlock FID is ultra light, up to half the weight of some traditional spikes. It achieves this by being machined from alloy. It can be used on all sorts of snap shackles sized up to Tylaska T-20. To give a safe grip and more control under high loads it has a knurled hand grip. To keep the FID close at hand it has a lanyard attachment hole and if you own the Mast Pro Harness it can be stored in its custom pocket.
